Well, that was a real bomb but by the time that the photo was taken it had obviously been defused.itboffin said:
My dad spent some time in bomb disposal and mine clearance during WW II (he's the man on the left). I've got a great picture of him taken on a beach on the south coast somewhere (near Exeter or Plymouth) standing next to a pile of huge defused bombs, a couple of which must have been at least 10 feet long.
