Had this great idea for a youtube video, which I'll keep stum for now incase I ruin it, LOL! But the premise is that I use a Darth Vadar toy. So I go into the loft and look for me old 1980s one I had... cant even get in there as the loft is a mess.. plan B - go and buy a new one!
I walk into the city center and start trying toy sections in various shops but dont even come close. Apparently my local debenhams doesnt sell toys anymore, other places are still washed out from christmas and dont even think of going into Toys R Us without being probed - they want you to hand over all your bags at the desk as you walk in. F*** off, pal, why should I trust you with my bags, get better security then.
To cut a long story short I must have walked for about 3 hours. Not a single Darth Vadar anywhere, all sold out. I said this to a lady in an independant toy shop and she said "thats because he's so baddass!"
Wasnt expecting that!!
Eventually I find a novelty Darth in Forbidden Planet and bought that, cost me a tenner though!
I despair for anyone who has kids around christmas!!
