A thousand places have been filled in the first hour of the on-line system going live.

That would mean that about two thousand are already registered and there are only a total number of 3000 places available for the Medio and Grande rides. An extra 200 places are being reserved for ladies who wish to do the shorter 'Debutante' ride.

You can now register as a reserve to fill the places of those who have secured an entry but later cancel.
Nearly all the 300 reserves for the 2013 event ultimately got to ride it. Go to www.dartmoorclassic.co.uk to register - without charge - as a reserve. You only pay when offered a place.
