Anyone else got this in their sights?;)

I did it last year and I'd highly recommend it. The route has changed slightly - a bit longer and a bit harder from what I can gather.

Claimed 150 miles with 5000m of climbing.

Pen Barras (which was right at the beginning last year and had people walking) with close to 150 miles in the legs is gonna hurt!

Entries were supposed to open yesterday but are not working for me, anyone else?

It's a monster ride, I ride some of those hills on my regular rides. I consider myself to be a reasonably fit cyclist, 100mile + rides I take in my stride, but this Dave Lloyd ride is especially brutal, cruel even.
I'll pass, thanks

Dave.

Clucking Bells, even the shortest route isn't easy for a sportive novice like me!
Still, decided to go for the midi Mega, an even 100 miles over that terrain.

I cycled from Tavistock to Princetown last week and that was 1600ft plus of climbing in just over 6 miles, i hit 50mph coming down again and passed a sign showing 13% gradient!

How steep is 20%!!!? are there any hills this steep in surrey to have a go at??
