Dawes Debutante handlebars.

Hello. I'm after a set of straight handlebars and a pair of brake levers to convert the above bike for my wife. I've just got it and she loves it but would prefer flat bars to the racing drops.
I'm on the lookout for some locally too but if someone has a suitable pair that would be great.

What stem style / size ?
I've some 25.4 (with a quill stem already on if required) that could be exchanged for a small number of beer tokens - and I'm not a million away from you.

Hi Pete. I've had a measure up and the stem diameter is 21mm as near as I can tell and the bars themselves are 24 or 25 mm as near as I can tell. Im not sure if there is a standard size or whether there is a variation in the sizes.
I do have a friend nearby who is also going to have a look to see what he's got.
If you think yours will fit let me know ' how many beer tokens' and i'll speak to a friend who works in Eastleigh to see if she can pick them up if they're ok.
I may not get on here again until tomorrow so don't think i'm ignoring you if I don't answer straight away.
