This has been donated to Enviroability where I work. It really only needs new tyres (which I have in the bits pile) and cables. I know these are not exactly flying off the shelves but it was a decent bike in its day and I'm tempted to restore it.

The Mafac twin lever was never the most efficient way of braking. I'd be tempted to put another lever on the stoker bars for the drag brake, and have separate levers for front and rear cantilevers. The twin lever will work fine with a single cable.

Yeah, agreed. This one is virtually identical to the tandem I have at home, which I fitted with individual brake levers and a repurposed bar end shifter for the drag brake. It's a much better arrangement and I have all the bits to do it.
