Days off wasted

Don't you just hate it when you have a few days off work and you get ill?!
I was feeling a bit rough on Friday, but had an internal interview so I struggled through. I didn't get the job, but being the good team player I am, I dosed myself up on lemsip max flu and went to do stock take yesterday.
Which leaves me facing my three, well deserved days off, with a rotten head cold and aching joints.

That's not as bad as me - I accidentally worked on one of my days off last month. I didn't get it back either

It's definitely mutated into woman flu - it's like man flu, but nobody really cares and you have to make your own lemsip :-)

Have one restful day and just give in to it all. Then hopefully, your cold will get bored and go away. Trying to struggle on, really doesn't help. I'd have said 'sod the team player' malarkey and vegged in a poorly pile somewhere.
I really hope that you feel better for at least one of your days off
