I saw four stoats run out into the road ahead of me yesterday then do a quick u-turn and disappear into the verge.

Any idea what the collective noun is for stoats?

I have seen three stoats in the last week, but have no idea, sorry, what the collective name for them is ;)

when they go pop.. it's not a nice site... yeuch..

On another note, on my recent tour of the deserts of the US, we killed 2 birds (1 poor little bligter just exploded on impact on the windscreen.. left a right mess) and 1 squirrel.

And on a even other note, biggest road kill I have seen was a cow...

I've seen a lot of dead badgers at the side of roads this summer - far more than usual. No idea why.
