Apart from a huge lack of funds....There ain't no stopping him now !
I have a matching leather jacket already, so that's one less thing to buy.

You must get a white scarf, with a coat hanger to make sure it flies behind you.Apart from a huge lack of funds....

They're owned by VW. Italian pizzazz and German engineering.
Oh absolutely! And flying goggles....You must get a white scarf, with a coat hanger to make sure it flies behind you.
Oh, and boots with white socks, turned over at the top.
You're not supposed to ride them!!!!Your right they are owned by VW and the styling is to die for but,
Dont rely on the german engineering bit. A friend I ride with during the summer months will only ride ducati and loves them with a passion. He currently owns a recent monster and the panigale. The panigale cost over 20k new and with less than 6k miles on the clock the motor has sh@t itself in a significantly costly manner twice now costing several thousand more pounds to repair. First time was less than a month outside of the warranty. And its been looked after by the supplying dealer from new.
On the plus side the monster has remained in one piece although its only done about 1300 miles, its probably not due a major engine rebuild until 1500.
Despite all of his running costs hes still blinded by their beauty.
Because Ive seen what he spends on running costs I bought a Honda
(Now he's back on the forum) PAGING @Fnaar!!!!!!!!!They're to go in the front room and be lovingly stroked....
Better join the RAC or AA just in case
As said, your beautiful Italian might be gorgeous to look at, but will rattle like a bag of spanners and be thoroughly unreliable.
Probably better off spending the money on a motorcycle.
The Missus and I have owned 5 Ducatis over the years and never suffered a breakdown.
The build quality was significantly better than the BMWs we owned too.
Service costs for my 996 were a bit steep - £500 minimum every 6000 miles![]()
Except the wet clutch ones. But look! Someone bought one with a wet clutch and missed the distinctive noise, so made a modification:I fitted a vented clutch cover to facilitate hearing that Ducati Music.
They're supposed to rattle (dry clutch)
