Cycling to work this am - just coming into town (Edinburgh) and I pass a guy on a slicked mtb. I come up to Dean Bridge and there is static traffic and a great big bus.
There is traffic coming on the opposite side and I stop and wait behind bus waiting for traffic to move.
Guy on MTB goes straight up inside of bus - he was so close he had to put his left foot down and scoot along as the bus started to move off.
I honestly thought he was gonna get squished.
Further up - I came up behind him and said: "You're gonna get squished one of these days mate." (I did this in a friendly tone) - the guy looked at me and obviously had no idea what I was on about and he turned off.
I hate getting disapproving with other folk but I honestly thought that this was a stupid move and one - if the guy had have been hurt or worse - would not have been the fault of the bus driver.
