Decathlon Helmet Cam

Living in a third world country (Spain) it's difficult to find a good choice of anything. Buying off internet is a lottery as few suppliers will deliver to Southern Spain (import taxes and thieving).

I am thinking of buying a helmet cam and the only one I can find is the B'twin from Decathlon, it's not a bad price at €60.

Has anyone got one, know anything about them, or have any other useful comments.

IIRC its a rebadged version of the ATC (2 or 3k) Thomas used to have one he can tell you more. Ive got the 5K, it doesn't record the best quality or sound and isn't great in low light/ transitions (but you've not really got the former in Spain I believe) other than that its a fairly nice (if not a bit bulky) self contained robust unit. To get an idea of the 5K quality (or lack of) you can check out my youtube page, I believe the earlier versions are similar in quality but with a slightly reduced angle of vision.

I have the Geonaute X-Snipe 300.  I had a 200 which lasted until just before the warranty ran out.  It wouldn't run on batteries.  Decathlon swapped it for the 300 with no fuss.  They did offer me my money back, which on second thoughts, I wish I had taken.

No problems with it though.  I don't use it much now as there isn't room on my bars for it.

Do you have Aldi in Spain ?  The UK ones sometimes have the ATC for sale at a decent price

The build quality is poor and footage isn't as good as the muvi.

Do you have Aldi in Spain ? The UK ones sometimes have the ATC for sale at a decent price

We have Aldi, we even have Iceland and a Morrisons, but that's in Gib.

I think I'll wait either for Aldi or, as we're coming back to the UK for a few days in January, I'll have a look around then.
