Decathlon road bike with campagnolo groupset

• Hopefully the link works.........I would be interested in comments on the Decathlon BT win Mach 720 - is this at £1299.99 a decent bike, I have no experience of the Campagnolo equipment so any comments gratefully received.

I've a very similar build on my Ribble. Can't fault the quality of the Campag components and actually prefer the hoods to my Shimano ones. Khamsin wheels aren't the lightest but they are well made and tough.

Frame is neat looking as well, the internal routing is a particularly nice touch and I assume makes it future proof should you wish to go electric (may be wrong on that though).

All in all, I'd go for it. Though it's worth noting that you may find you get slightly more bike for your money looking at last years models if you're prepared to hunt around.

I have not heard of the different height wheels before....anyone had experience with such a set up?

Yup. Ignore the marketing baws about heights and torsions. They are good, well made wheels. Never had a problem with the two sets I've got.

Great value, good spec, love the colour/finish but ..... just can't come to terms with the way that frame looks, esp around the seat tube/seat stays. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc etc
