can vouch or a pootle along the canal down that way - lovely way to cut through a slightly lumpy section.

On a more serious note, a mate of mine has lived in Somerset for 30 years and commented recently that most houses being sold are to‘out of towners’ which doesn’t go down well. As an outsider, I can see why the area is desirable but with the influx of wealthy newbies, he is worried that the charm and character of the area will change.
I hope it doesn’t because as a visitor, I like slower ‘Somerset time’
Maybe should leave this for another thread though
