My Shure E2Cs are packing up on me... intermittent right channel.

Can anyone recommend a good earphone with a snug comfy fit that won't fall out while im on the move, with decent sound quality too?

I tried about 4 types before the Shures. None of which were much cop.

Cheers!

Sennheiser CX300's. I got a pair with silver buds for my son in the summer and they were £15, bought some with white buds a couple of weeks ago for £5.99!!
I have a set with black buds and they cost about £18, and I love them. They sit in the ear and have a very good sound. The only drawback is that you get wind noise during the quiet bits, and don't even try eating with them in!

I got all mine from Play.com

I use an iHome speaker on the bike. Off the bike, I have a pair of B&O earphones which are (a) adjustable in three directions and ( extremely comfortable. They won't fall out as they don't rely on the earpieces being held in your ear.

I've got a pair of Westone UM1's which I love. Super comfortable and fantastic sound.

These look similar to my E2Cs... can I ask where you bought yours from?

The Sennheisers look tempting, but i've read a couple of bad reviews about the build quality which puts me off.

Got them on ebay from a shop in the states a couple of years ago. The seller was Freq. City. Very helpful they were too. Worked out about £40 cheaper than buying them in the UK at the time. Cheapest I can find them here is at iHeadphones.

+1 for Sennheiser CX500. I've got them in black and I paid about £30 about 3 years ago - brilliant. Also got a pair of Bose in-ear haedpohones. They're great when not on the move but do tend to fall out when walking, etc.

Cheers mate, been reading some very positive reviews

A shame they're so expensive... but it would be rude not to.

They are very good. I tried some Etymotic ER6i's at the time as well but the build quality on the Westones swung it for me, especially the braided cable which is tough as old boots. The good thing is they use the same tip fitment as Shure's so there's loads of options when it comes to replacement foam or rubber tips.

ah, so i could use my spare foam tips which I bought for my E2Cs... its starting to make sense. That said, i've just blown £115 on cycling clobber

i have a ear in bose pair costing £60 and a pair of pair by bang and olufson (which clip around the ears like the picture above.) costing around £80. both are excellent sound quality as you would expect.

I have seen the bose second hand on amazon for only £25. if that is any help
