Hi - does anyone know a decent brand of non-QR allen-key skewers (suitable for 135mm rear drop-out)? Most of the ones I've seen online look to be pretty low quality.

These seem to be about the best I've found:

£10 from here:

But still don't look that well made, considering they're going to be support a set of KT Swiss Wheels...

I want them for my Hewitt Cheviot touring bike, as I'm getting a decent new set of wheels for it, and having to use an allen key to remove the wheels at least will discourage casual theft and/or slow a thief down a little. I don't want a pair that requires a special security key, though, as don't want to be reliant on having a non-standard tool to remove them.

Or should I just get some decent QR ones (e.g. Shimano XTR?) and rely on always using a cable lock extension to secure the front wheel? Thanks

Halo's are fine. They're holding better wheels on than mere KT Swiss on one of my bikes. ;)
