Yes, that frame will cost you around 2k...
The 853 is the same geometry as the normal equilibrium but with an upgraded tubing and steel forks. IIRC it's costing 750, I'm very tempted.
nope - its a compact, need triple - see sigI hear it is, but then we will soon find out.
If you are still hell bent on steel,

is bloody lovely, as I have seen in at the Evans in oxford circus. I would have this instead of the van nic with some lovely new wheels.

Hi JayIf your going Ti have a look at Enigma bikes. I have the Echo and absolutely love it
Aha, now I get you. There are no eyelets at the top to attach the rack to the seat stays.
Yeah, things like p-clips would work, but I'm not too sure I want to use them going touring with heavy loads. But that's not what the equilibrium was made for anyway.Aha, now I get you.
Seatpost clamp mount or brake bridge are options though.
We are on the same page I think. Single eyelets at the bottom, P-clips, brake bridge brackets a la my tubus fly, and seat post mounts (as used on the road.cc equilibrium 853) are fine, ime, for light- and credit card-touring. For heavy touring? You need a proper touring bike.Yeah, things like p-clips would work, but I'm not too sure I want to use them going touring with heavy loads.
