Defence Discount Service

For those who haven't heard of it the above is a service available to serving and ex forces personnel, firefighters, paramedics, police and a couple of other occupations. Some reasonable discounts to be had. I just saved £78 on a Garmin 530. Just thought I would let you know.

Looks like it’s the military section of the Blue Light Card scheme (which is the one for police, fire and NHS staff etc).

I got £2000 off my new car with that card best £5 I have spent. Wouldn’t have bought a new car but the £2000 off paid for the lose off the fore court.

It was a Skoda dealer a bit far from you Westover garage near Salisbury, Wilts

If you're a military 'veteran', like wot I am, you can have both (the Blue Light seems better, even though it's run by the same company)
