Racing a racing bike should ideally be done on a racing bike.When I had a racing bike everyone wanted to race me even though they were not riding a racing bike, come to think of it especially if they were not riding a racing bike.A racing bike has dropped handlebars, skinny tyres and an invisible saddle.

They banned recumbents from racing, and don't recognise the class.
