Defy 1 or Cube Attempt

As postman said, try both. But to be honest, you need to ride them (and long distances) to see what they're really like. The Defy is made for the type of riding ssM wants to do though, it's going to be more comfortable for long relaxed rides than the Cube.

Cube, there better,sexier, and they make anybody look like a pro (even when your just standing by it). Everything else just looks common.

Cubes are sexy and perfect if you after a fast bike. I almost bought one.
Defy 1 is in another league for comfort with speed - i did buy one
