defy 2 vs Felt z85

Which is better and best bang for buck? My first road bike and I've shortened the list to pretty much these 2.

Giant defy 2 or Felt z85 (currently on sale)

The Defy 1 is a better comparison, £700 so £40 more, both 105

I liked the look of the felt. Looks a quality bike. The defy 1 in blue also is a very nice looking bike IMO. They seem the best value bikes around.

I'm also just about to pick up my first bike for 5 years and went for a Defy as it just felt nice and comfortable to me.

Don't think you can go far wrong with either for the money to be honest. Some really attractive deals around this time of year.

I really like the look of the felt tbh, plus I read that 105 gear setup is better too, this being my first ever road bike I'm not too overly sure how different they would be, I've always mostly had MTB and Hybrid bikes. but they too just fall around my £650 price range.

Giant every time.. Felts have that desirability factor but over a 50 mile ride I'd have a giant.
