Defy fork and bike computer?

Hi all, I picked up my new cyclescheme bike today (defy 3) and have been adding a few bits to it. I went to add the wireless computer bit to the forks but as they look areo it did not sit right at the back of the forks even with 2 zip ties, Does it matter that i turned it round and have the sender facing forward? it all works. I did try to attach it to the chain stay but I coul`nt get a signal. Thanks

It'll be fine on the front of the fork. Jut look at the Pro bikes, plenty of them have senders mounted to the front edge of the forks.
