I have 5 modern bikes and one Dawes racing bike from the 1960's which I have recently acquired and renovated.
This may be the strangest thing, but this bike actually rolls up hills.
It's heavy and 531 whereas the others are all aluminium. It's original spec but still out performs a Scott P3 (2 years old) and a Ridgeback Velocity. How can this be?
Am I missing something or is this bike possessed?

Nice job. I don't know about the Scott (I think it is a hybrid too) but I'm not surprised it out performs the Ridgeback, it looks like a quality bike. One advantage is the drops let you vary position more when climbing.
