There is one particular spot on my commute where I have had the same sort of incident with the same sort of vehicle.
Incident 1
Incident 2
Incident 3

I will post the latest one when I have uploaded it. Basically it involves a pushy HGV driver on the same section of road. The obvious advice would be to take another route, however that has a whole lot of other issues so is not really much of an option.

Does anybody else have a section of road that has a repeat of incidents?

As promised the latest and yet seemingly formulaic instalment

I had a pinch point where drivers would try their best to squeeze past, until I adopted primary position earlier and it seems to have stopped.

In general I cannot see much you can do about yours, you seem to be in the right place but the drivers seem determined to get past no matter whose safety they put in danger, obviously not theirs.

The latest one I probably would have been in primary earlier to ensure the driver at the junction noticed me, hopefully, and ensure plenty of space for the overtake of the parked car.

Unfortunately, some drivers just don't care you in their way and slowing them down by a few seconds.

+1 get out very early, and then at least if they do try to squeeze past, they are usually the ones looking stupid as they have to stop with a bollard in front of the car and then pull in behind you

I remember that Walkers Crisps lorry one before and was reminded how absolutely f***ing awful that was, almost as if he was deliberately trying to kill you!

Did you get anywhere reporting the driver?

I didn't get any where reporting it, can't remember if I had reported it to crackdown or not. However, the Cryoservices one I have now just reported to the police through crackdown and will see where that takes me.

IMO also caused by this general 'lapse' in enforcement of parking laws. Its legal to park on the road there, not on the pavement. If the blue Ka had been parked legally would it have panned out the same, with the approaching silver motor?

Start to move out towards the centre before the side road which is about 150yds before the parked car.

IMO, regardless of the obstacle further up the road, you should move out as much as possible when passing side roads whan a car is at the junction-they have a better chance of seeing you.
