Hi
Last year I bought a couple of sets of leg and arm warmers from Lidl and Aldi. They are slightly too big for me, and consequently they don't stay up.
Rather than throw them away, I am tempted to try putting them in the tumble drier or a hot wash or iron, to shrink them a little.
Has anyone ever tried this?
Thanks
Mark

Being lycra, if you do a really hot wash, it simply makes the material go less stretchy. So you'll end up like Nora Batty unfortunately.

Thanks for saving me from doing that. Instead, I've used my non-existent sewing skills on the arm warmers to tighten them. On the leg warmers, I will try the fold over the shorts' hem method, which I've not tried before.
Hopefully I won't end up looking like a pillock.

I've got a pair of LiDL-or-were-they-ALDI legwarmers and the under the shorts method works fine for me.
