A top end Dell XPS-13 9310 laptop in white. i7 11th gen CPU, 16Gb RAM, 512Gb SSD, 4K touch screen.

Supplied with Dell 60W compact USB-C mains charger.

This is my previous work laptop, about 4.5 years old, purchased by me in a charity auction and professionally wiped by our IT provider. It was very reliable and I looked after it. Looking very closely I can see only the tiniest scratch on the case (top right of lid)

Puzzle game procrastinator!
You forgot the price!

How good are the keyboard and trackpad?

(I am probably going to buy a Macbook Air at some point, but it would be interesting to investigate Windows alternatives.)

Yes sorry, clicked Post before I'd finished. Keyboard is excellent if you're ok with the small travel "chiclet" style for most laptops these days. I actually preferred it to the the one on my current work laptop, the 16" equivalent machine.
Trackpad is fine too, had no issues. Did a lot of 2 finger scrolling, and occasionally used the 3 finger swipe up for quick selection of windows or desktop. I'm a Mac fan and I'd say Mac trackpads have the edge but it's marginal.
