Denmark tour

Regarding expense, is it all that bad? What's the price of a pint?

My impression at least was it is cheaper than the other Scandinavian countries, as the Swedes/Norwegians go to Copenhagen to get boozed up. I'm considering cycling up after visiting a mate in Frankfurt this summer, but do not want either bankrupt myself or do it in hairshirt mode (I'll be camping, but want a few pints and an evening meal out everyday).

I recently, well two years back did that tour. I started off in Holland and went through to Germany..past Bremerhaven and crossed over to Gluckstadt, which is just before Hamburg. I went along the Western coast of Denmark and then traversed across and eventually went through AAhus I think it is called...I stayed at campsites, never found any of them free ones....not like the Baltics....but did stay in some really good hostels and guesthouses occasionally...............Well I returned from Billund, by air....There is a campsite near that legoland place but it was too crowded and I thought pricey, so I travelled just outside and found a place which was more reasonable.........and quiet, which I like.....also I had the opportunity to camp wild..........I like variety in travelling..............thats all for now folks
