I had one put in 28 years ago (upper back)which lasted really well with one re-cement. Unfortunately one of the supporting teeth started giving me gyp and had to be removed so I had the Dentist cut the bridge up and used one piece as a Crown for the remaining stump.

A breathtaking thread!

A bridge tooth ah!

....I've also got one of my 'first' teeth. Whenever they do an x-ray it baffles them how it's still in place, and as I'm 54 years old now it might see me out ^_^
You must be getting a bit long in the tooth by now...I bet you ate your rusks.

I got three teeth knocked out by an Italian ice-cream salesman when I was 15 and the original bridge is still there, 44 years later.

The work was done by a dentist named Forman of Fenton? Fenwick? Newcastle upon Tyne.

Did you buy any ice cream in the end up?
