I really wanted to get stuck but didn't.

Me too. I sat in just the right way and everything, it would've been dead cool if I'd got stuck.

Just about all of the things he did on that show could've been done with stooges. Not saying that's how he did it, but he could've.

I didnt stick, but i sure felt pretty uncomfortable looking at him when he was explaining the video just moment before.

Probably similar to the "staring-contest" trick he did in one of his street acts where he made people cower away in terror just by staring them down.

I do believe it worked for some people though, i'm just disappointed by the low success rate, and that i'm not one of the few for whom it worked.

Nearly as good as last night when I went to see Elbow. My friend expressed surprise that a CD seller outside Manchester Victoria station became very animated when he saw me and tried to sell me reggae CDs whereas he was pushing anything but reggae to the other punters that were walking past him. "How did he know you liked reggae?", she asked.

Regular forum users know the answer

It's a bit more complicated than that...
For what it's worth, here's what I reckon:
Win/lose cards: sleight of hand.
Win/lose t-shirts: not sure about that one.
Subliminal music to pick victim: meaningless. Music stopped as soon as someone volunteered.
Photos: pre-prepared and planted during the trick by an assistant. There weren't 60 choices of pens - the photo of the pen showed a white pen with a blue lid; the actual pen was solid blue. Assistants behind scenes could see the order of the cubes. It would have been feasible (say 10 colours of pen x 6 number orders) to have every possible photo available and pre-printed.
"Magic number" matching ticket - RFID tag or similar in ticket.
Selection of toy - suggestion. Possibly half a dozen or so different "giant" toys were pre-prepared in case she picked up on a different set of suggestions. There was something funny about the goodie bag - she was carefully instructed to take it round with her.
Toy name - I didn't even see where this came from. Assuming she made it up as she was going round it was written on both tags by an assistant after the event and the small one was palmed into the goodie bag.
"Magic film" - hypnotism. It worked for at least 4 people (assuming they weren't plants) - which, out of an audience of a couple of million, is a very low success rate.
