But ... most chafing takes place in cold weather, and in cold weather many riders are wearing 3/4 or full-length shorts/tights which cover the knees!

I would make backs more comfortable in the Wiggins TT position and move genitals to somewhere protected and not prone to damage by saddles ... in armpits perhaps? ()

As a female of the species, I'm in favour of a move for comfort reasons but if the arm pits are it, can't decide which side.

Pot-holes, cracks, manhole covers and drains will be non-existent, as will be the lack of motorised vehicles. Road rage will cease to exist, but arrogant cyclists will be zapped away. The sun will shine, there will be no head winds and all uphills will be rewarded by gentle undulating black ribbons of 'god' sent roads.

Cafs and bars will be spread out every 20 miles or so, along with lbs/bike mechanics every 50 miles.
