Rather than the electric aspect, the thing that caught my eye was the way that they have got round the problem of fitting a belt drive through the rear triangle. Previous offerings like the Trek have a section of the seat or chain stay that is removable. Here they don't bother, they use an idler pulley to route the bottom of the belt over the chain stay

Thats actually looks a decent way of doing it. A thread on the mtb section has a pic with an elevated chainstay bike which to me is another way around splitting chainstays for beltdrives.

I actually like to see 'concept' bikes, at least ones that have actually been made and not just exist as a 3D computer model. More in a hope that someone one day may actually come up with an idea that will eventually benefit us all. First road bike I ever had came witha 5 speed downtube shifter. Things have moved on a bit since then.
