If they were all like that they might even get used occasionally!

It is two way and it does get used but I filmed it at 2:30pm, even then it is only going to be used for people on a fairly good run plus they have to know about it. It joins the two sides of the Medway river valley.

Im happy with cycle lanes when I can use them.Dont always use them though.That one coming off of Whipps Cross last night is a JOKE!

It's not an aversion it's a bias.

Same attitude as to

Helmets
High Viz and whatever else.

Seems like when your mids made up blah blah blah.

aversion= a strong feeling of dislike, opposition, repugnance, or antipathy
bias =is a term used to describe a tendency or preference towards a particular perspective, ideology or result, especially when the tendency interferes with the ability to be impartial, unprejudiced, or objective.

Errr what's the difference?
Path = Pavement
Lane = Road?

Aye I see what you mean.

I would agree I don't particularly like cycle paths,that one at Whipps Cross being a particularly poor example.

Whipps Cross has a cycle lane? That's one junction that calls for Primary

For a dangerously hilarious sight, have a gander at the one for the Green Man roundabout one along from Whipps Cross

Coming down from Whipps Cross I guess it's classed as a cycle path as it is on the pavement.

I was there last night didn't notice anything amiss.

Its not often a cycle path actually goes where people want to go and is of a good standard; I'm glad you've found one.

I quite like the the path alongside the Forth Road Bridge as its a route I/ other people want to go and it saves a 40 mile detour. Although its tie in on the north side in particular is terrible. It improved slightly when it became part of NCN 1 but it still bad.

I saw another one that follows the new roads over at West Malling the other day as well, it is due some investigating.

Panter, have you cycled over the crossing at Detling, very cool, Detling hill is a pig to cycle up.
