Well having driven back from Mansfield tonight and just got in, it’s fair to say that I won’t be riding tomorrow based on what’s going on round here. It’s just awful, the drive home down the M1 was worse and it’s still coming down so unless it miraculously gets mild and melts overnight, sadly I’m out.

@13 rider have you had any thoughts on timings yet?

Nice pie opens at 10.30 so I was thinking Cossington at 0900 1.5 hrs riding to be at cafe near opening time . Not definite but will be within 30 mins of 0900

Been out today and rode version 2 ok but I put a silly hill in it Foeville drop so being kind I've come up with version 3 missing that hill

Hopefully the roadworks in Long Whatton will be finished by then....whilst they are passable, it's a pain!

I'm presuming from Whitwick we are not going back to Cossington?
