Destination Thailand!

I'll be spending 7-10 days in Thailand in the middle of February and am looking for a very quiet, unspoilt island/coastal resort/beach bungalow in the south east of the country, and preferably with an airport with a connection to Bangkok main airport?

Any suggestions?

We're going to be in Cambodia first for 7-10 days (Bamboo Island) and hope to find something similar in Thailand. Peace and tranquility are what we are after.

I'll have a word with my sister, she practically lives over there. You might even get lucky, if you play your cards right.

Koh samet island is 2 hours by bus from bangkok. It's a bit of a hangout for locals so not overly touristy.

For unspolit i recommend Koh Phi Phi near Phuket where the beach and man with golden gun was set. There will be lots of tourists, but its great hiring a longtail boat and heading out to the neighbouring deserted islands.

Koh Samui has an airport. Bophut beach and the nearby fishing village are (or were!) nice.

Unfortunately you're not going to get unspoilt with an airport as well. There are some nice secluded and unspoilt parts if that's what you're looking for.
