Anyone else know someone who's a bloomin nightmare on a bike...i know my son is
When he was younger (13 or so), got him a Trek MTB...destroyed it in one year.
Various other BSO's over the years...never fared much better.
Borrowed my trek hybrid for a few months, buckled the wheels.
Crashed the same bike some time later and broke the crankset.

He's getting better now (at 24 ), but still seems to be easily distracted when riding.
Crashed the bike i built for him and dislodged the front mech...happily, that was easily fixed .
Now the pedals fallen off and gouged out the threads..i think when he crashed it last time, he's whacked the pedal and damaged it without me realising. Its slowly worked its way loose.

Gawld help me...he's a good boy young man, but a bloomin nightmare with bikes.

Please tell me he's not the only one !!

I've certainly damaged a fair few of my bikes. including cracking the frame on some down hill bikes. completely destroying 2 hard tails on jumps and the general i'll carry on riding it and see how it goes which turns into a lot of replacements :blush::biggrin:

If only !!!
I've long since learned, you can't teach someone to be good with their hands if their not, or if they dont want to.
Gawld know's, i've worked with plenty of people who think they know how to fix stuff...but only succeed in making things worse
