Excellent story. Not quite the same but reminds me of the story I saw on american news last night where they are doing studies on cycling and parkinsons.

This sort of thing is great , isn't it.
I have been overtaken on numerous occasions by a one legged cyclist while on the road in Richmond Park.
I've also seen one legged skiers and a one legged bloke powering up and down in a swimming pool in a manner that I could only dream of.

Losing a limb wouldn't stop me. I would be out in the shed happily bodging the false limb up to suit whatever sport I was into.

I'm always reminded of how lucky I am when I read stories like that. It's inspiring isn't it - such mental strenght.

And I reckon the 26 miles he did would have to be 150 for me to be anywhere near like a similar achievement.
