Differences between quad and triple and other tips ?

So i am planning to get a quad tandem at some point and was wondering if there is anything different to riding a quad over a triplet ? Anything unique to quads over tandems and triples ? i own both a tandem and a triple just wondering what a quad is like.

Sorry dave soi I don't own a tandem but I have an interest in owning what will be my first ever tandem. The dream tandem I just recently started configuring is a Santana 4/3/2 convertible tandem with couplers. Would be perfect for bouncing between various combinations of riders, plus seems like it would be easier to learn to ride in standard 2 person configuration.

Anyone own a tandem with couplers?
