Aye, he's a pain.

Squirts of GT85 and use of a watchmakers screwdriver from a Christmas Cracker to wiggle out the debris works after a few minutes.

We had crap christmas crackers this year. I'm f***ed.

Try pulling you foot out on a fixed..... my SPD cleat wore early for some reason... hence me bobbing up and down at over 20 mph from anl acceleration in traffic...argh..comedy moment......

Eventually changed the cleat - never happened again.... Might be the reason I didn't crash at the CC track meet when my foot kept coming unclipped on the 250m sprint.

I pulled my foot out a few weeks ago, on my fixed using toe clips and straps. Coming back from the club run climbing hard up one of the hills on the Fosse Way and managed to pull my foot right out, huge wobble, almost hit the crown jewels on the cross bar but managed to stay on it, just. I normally set the straps a just touch loose, so I can get my feet out without messing with them, but so I can still pull up on them, on this occasion I must have tried to pull up with the toe pointing down instead of up.
