We are going to York next week with the caravan for 5 days.SWMBO as asked me "please don't take your bike" Its the word please that as thrown me...
Now, do I grow a pair and say I'm taking it? Or do I sneak it into the caravan at the last minute when she as done everything she needs to do inside of the caravan. And look all surprised when we get to York, and ask how did that get there.

Leave the bike take the wife and the caravan. Then when arrived at your chosen destination seek out the nearest lbs and buy a new bike.

Might you be able to hazard a guess and tell us why she might have made this request?
The request as been made on the grounds of "You spend enough time out on your bike nearly everyday, lets spend some time together." She does exaggerate:ohmy:Plus we have spent loads of time together in the last 33 years...

Leave the bike. York's small enough to walk around easily, and there's plenty to see and do. It's Viking festival time, so there's all sorts going on.

If you must, hire a bike each, and go for a ride along the river or something.
