"CGI brings dinosaur Britain to life" - so I thought I'd take a peek.

Oh dear - class 5's first attempt at CGI on a budget of '2 & 6' (I'm getting old).

Utterly pitiful - the scene where Dopeydocious, or whatever it was called, being fed by Ellie Harrison was laugh out loud bad.

How does tripe like this get out of the brain storm phase?

We caught 'Oxford Street' this afternoon. Dumbing down at its worse, manufactured jeopardy, a shouty voice over at just described the image you are looking at and shoddy camera work. They've even built in cut aways to a road sign every ten minutes and then continue with a recap - so the BBC have included markers for the ad breaks when it goes to Spike.

Absolute bilge, which I have paid for. Fortunately no dinosaurs.

Just saw the trailer. My four-year-old will love it. Thanks.

my daughter watched it last night (17), she said it was ok but the CGI wasn't very good but she couldn't understand the 9pm start time as younger kids might enjoy it....but at least the kids are on holiday
the last BBC David Attenborough show was also a 9pm start during school term which I found strange....

I agree with your daughter.

If it had gone out at 5pm for the small kids it would've made more sense.

Utterly crass piece of production.

No, but it is paying for 'Oxford Street Revealed' it's on again this afternoon, you should try it.
In fairness, my licence fee pays for a lot of TV & Radio I don't like or am not in a position to see/hear due to being at work, asleep etc.

If it helps, think of something you like that very likely costs more that £150 odd to make and mentally attribute your bit of licence fee to that.

Personally, I don't pay a single penny for Eastenders but buy Victoria Coren a pair of stilettos for her Only Connect wardrobe
