I'm afraid you're right. His lack of hazard awareness is just stunning.

I thought I was young and unexperienced. I used to make mistakes and errors on the roads, like overtaking when I will get nowhere.

I did make a big boo boo at a large roundabout last week when I thought a car on the outside lane was going to go down the road I was on but they didnt. I couuldnt unclip quick enough so was forced to enter the roundabout after the car and cut up another red car as I made my way between it and another vehicle. The guy in the red car was quite distressed annoyed by this so said something as he eventually passed me. For some reason, instead of saying "Sorry", I thought it would be a good idea to start blaming him for the whole incident.
Straight afterwards, when I had calmed down, I understood that I was an idiot and should have planned ahead. I certainly shouldnt have blamed the guy for my mistake.

Im suprised he keeps cycling if he gets so wound up and feels like hes nearly knocked off frequently.

Shouting in the runners ear was awful and a bit risky if he'd made the guy jump. The other ones were massive over reactions and really poor positioning/impatience. He made himself blind to the Range Rover(?) i think in the last clip while overtaking at a junction and probably could have controlled the lane better and avoided the squeeze from the left hook. The camera view is rather low, so his visability would be much better than what the camera is getting too.

Arg, the ambient noise in those videos is infuriating.

The cyclist appears to revel in confrontation; you can't change the world by 'accusing' folk of being rampant masturbators while passing them on a boneshaker!

It depends on the runner, IMO. Some runners will be going in excess of 10mph, and that's faster than some cyclists.

6 minute mileing? You'll not see too many out and not for any prolonged periods!

The worst part of that for me was that he saw the 4x4 emerge at around 0:18 in the vid. He decided to move to filtering on the offside as the oncoming lane was clear (probably acceptable), so as not to hold up his journey should the 4x4 be turning left and indeed end up stopping across the bike lane. All he had to do was cover the brakes and elevate his position (stand on the pedals) and he'd have seen the 4x4 blatantly about to turn across him.

It astounds me that someone who does enough cycling to buy a helmet camera can see something like this developing and react aggressively by accelerating through a hazard. He could've just got to work five seconds later, had a much more pleasant day, and not have to waste his time uploading videos of his crap cycling to youtube in the evening

When I used to run a long time ago, loads of people in my running club would do 8km in less than 32 minutes, i.e. faster than me.

No, just standard club training runs. I don't get why you think this is amazing, it's normal for people who're keen on running. Maybe it's a bit like car drivers not being able to understand that many of us cyclists can sit at 20mph on the flat, and happily do 50 or 100 mile rides for fun.

I'm a club runner.

Not fast, but I'll usually figure comfortably in the top 50% of races. Club races in the top 2/3rds, depending on the field.
I reckon anyone that can hold sub 6 min mileing for any distance is not a usual runner

Just checked my last local 10k race. 7 out of 294 finishers managed to finish under an average 6 min mile. That's racing, not running.
BTW several Garmins clocked it at about 6.08 as opposed to 6.2 miles - short course.

Because there are a lot of camera cyclists that are obsessed with and driven by upping their subscribers, comment count and hits. I'm a camera cyclist and have posted a few videos, mainly fun little montages that I made for me if I enjoyed the ride and wanted to share something.

For some others, they know that being a knob will attract bad attention but attention nonetheless. What's worrying is that they're sad enough to prioritise meaningless numbers over real-life road safety.

On the contrary, if you look at those who have the most subscribers, it is those who strive for perfection in them selves.
Making your self look like a prat, will not get them the numbers which they may be looking for.
