Disc brake pads.

Just want to know what pads give the best stopping power.

I have come across a number of terms such as ORGANIC, SINTERED, SEMI-ORGANIC, SEMI-METALLIC .........etc. the blurb that tries to differentiate them confuses me.

Not sure why disc brake pads are complicated here cos surely the best is the one which gives the most immediate stopping power when levers are pulled.

Could I please ask someone to tell me the one to choose for best stopping power.

Organic but they won't last as long, especially if you use them off-road.

Remember to check if your disk rotor can take sintered pads if you want to use them. Not all do and will wear out very quickly if they are not hardeend ones.
