You would need a new frame and forks for a start if your Triban is not made for disc brakes.

Can I ask why you want to add disc brakes? Have you considered just upgrading the pads?
The pads and tyres are standard I not sure what really to upgrade, I keep hearing ppl saying get disc brakes for winter. Plus got them on my mtb and the topping power is soooo better.

Better tyres and better pads if you can't afford another bike

Or put slicks on the MTB for winter

Get yourself some better blocks. Koolstops or similar. You won't get as good stopping power as discs but it will be an improvement on the generic supplied blocks.

Swiss stop green upgrade from standard on my boardman made world of difference . Was about 45 quid but stopped me in about half the old distance . And at 95-100kg i take a lotta stopping
