Fear not! 'course if you are in them you might want to scrub the "not". Shaun is on the case, meanwhile will try a little experiment

Nice fix Shaun - and good pics from totallyfixed, who unfortunately by being cameraman is only in one of them. Those hills actually look a bit steeper than I remember!

Thank you Shaun, shame about the quality of the pictures, the good news is I will be getting a new camera very soon. A bad cyclist always blames his camera.
I agree Vikeonabike, it's about time you joined the posse as you can be considered "local" to Rutland.
I reckon the next ride is about 7 or 8 weeks away so will try and give plenty of notice and because of the proliferation of routes to choose from and good cafe stops we can make it any distance. I think a winter ride probably needs to be a bit shorter than this one we did, my fault in underestimating the average speed due to the wind.

TF..could I ask for the 29th of Jan, 5th or 12th of Feb to be considered for the next ride..because I'm not on duty those weekends..Ta!

Ah, I see what you mean, Steve - those are the kind of roads I like! They do look very exposed to any wind though ...

I won't make it down for your next ride, but I hope that will for one a few months after that?

I'm toying with organising a long forum ride from Meriden to the Malvern Hills or Cotswolds in the Summer. If we could coordinate our plans, I'd make it one week after one of your Rutland rides and go down to the Midlands for a long family visit taking in both weekends.
