disk brakes for specialized rockhopper

i am looking to upgrade the v brakes on my specialized rockhopper to disk brakes.
can i fit this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=45208
and use the levers fitted for the v brakes or do i have to buy new brake levers as well

disk brakes were an option on the bike when new as it is fitted with the mounts on the frame, forks and wheels.

sorry to ask the question but haven't a clue about disk brakes

Found the answer on sheldonbrown site, apparently long pull levers are designed for v brakes and most disk brakes,
hope he's right
