Do I cycle tomorrow?

I've been off for over two weeks now. Just under two weeks of that have been the weather. Call me a big Jessie, but the ice on the roads in Glasgow was crazy for a good while. 25mm tyres and ice/snow don't mix!

Then the bugs struck and I've been off work for the rest of the time. Nasty bug....you really don't want to know! I'm back tomorrow (as long as my wife doesn't fall foul of the bugs....won't someone please think of/look after the children!!) but do I take the bike or the car tomorrow?

Rain tonight, followed by freezing temps, then possibly snow in the afternoon. I'm mainly on main roads. Do I chance it?

I'm pretty much recovered. I was off today not because I was sick, but because I had to look after the sick!

We all know what it feels like after a break of the bike, i doubt i would want to do that with the potential bad weather you will be getting!

Mr Summerdays lay in bed listening to the weather forecast and then said "I don't know which bike to take?" At which point I kicked him and asked why would he take a bike without studded tyres when he had a choice

If he was feeling unwell or just recovering it would be take the car. I think you made the right choice.

MTFU...............

I took the fixed with 23mm tyres, why, it's was blowing a gale and hissing down - might be my un-doing later if the weather does change !

That salt/molasses mix is horrible.....ergh..... getting sick of washing it off the bike - at least the fixed has full guards, unlike the MTB.
