But my work colleagues says,

I don't understand they problem.
I love it.

So you love hommous? Congratulations, you're on the first step to culinary Heaven. What you need to do now is take the next step, which is to seek out a proper Lebanese takeaway and eat a shawarma sandwich, which will be laced with tehini, the ground sesame ingredient of hommous. The third step is the full-blown Lebanese (or Syrian or Iraqi) meal, the tastiest, healthiest, most natural and fresh food on the planet. Londoners have numerous places, most notably Maroush Express on Edgeware Road, which is always where we go first on arrival in London.

Sounds fab! My brother in law lived around haringay a few years ago. Loads of Lebanese eateries round there.
It was a taste sensation.

As I am sat here, cat on my lap, eating Polish ravioli stuffed with sauerkraut and mushrooms, I tell thee: the best hoummous (Cypriot approved spelling) is the one a Cypriot chef showed me how to make.
From the commercial variety, I favor caramelized onion

No way I'm gonna do that, I'm not the skinniest as it is. That's how I never buy Taramasalada either, though I love it.
Anyhow, my local tesco has been trying out a chilled Polish foods isle: being the area not very cosmopolitan the stuff is regularly reduced, next in the freezer there are ravioli stuffed with something I don't recall, plus potato croquettes filled with something or other :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:
