Do I need a new bead?

Would you ride on this? Does this look like an overinflated tire or an innertube installation problem?
Whatever made the tire flat also seems to have caused a hole in the rim. Is this dangerous?
I'm not sure (because the hole on the rim and the bubble looking thing on the bead are close together) if the damage to the bead was done before or after putting in a new innertube. Any opinions are greatly welcomed and I thank you for your time

No, I think the bead/carcass of the tyre has failed, causing the bulge in the tyre, so the tyre has had it.

Yeah, that's knackered. It's only a Kenda though. You might find a replacement in the Wilko closing down sale - I found some nicely discounted lights.

As to the wheel, I wouldn't ride that either. There's a lot of "meat" there, but it is quite a serious gouge and you can't see what's under the paint. Is it a fixed gear?

It's a fixed gear/free hub that I spun around and made it a single speed. Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to risk it with the rim and buy a new set of tires/innertubes and see how it goes. Unfortunately I'll still be riding this to work until the replacements come in. Wish me luck!
