the 2013 Cube would be an option if still available in may/june

Go for what you are comfortable paying for, simple as that really.

If you're happy to spend £1k then fill your boots, or if you're not fussed about it being the latest model/spec then save some wonga and get the Tiagra model.

FYI, Shimano's trickle down effect does mean that Tiagra is simply old 105, and 105 is old Ultegra etc, etc, etc.

FWIW I think the 2013 model looks far better than any of the 2014 ones, especially the red, white and blue affair xx(

Stevey.
I am definitely buying this bike (peloton race 2014) from this chain store as a) there is one in Bury 13 miles away b) I will use C2W scheme & save 25% roughly on tax & N.I contributions. C) I will join their V.I.P club & save a further 5 % off full RRP so total cost will be roughly around £730 for 2014 model.
I am going for the white/red/blue colour scheme as it's a bit Union Jack-ish & my fave colours.
The V.I.P club is £30 to join but u get a good Muc Off bike kit included & the 5% saving plus discounts on anything I buy through the year.
Another reason I want a Cube is to be slightly different although they are becoming quite popular now.
Hope this helps.
