Do smart commuter trousers exist?

I was wondering do a pair of smart type commuter trouser exist... sort of a black suit type trouser I could attend a sales meeting in then cycle home (about 10 miles) instead of getting changed back in to my normal gear.

I'm looking for a trouser that has a bit of lycra and that would not rip at the seams (that most trousers seem to do without the rigours of cycling) a similar idea to commuter jeans...

Any Ideas, suggestion or links?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Thanks to Kies and Potsy for your prompt replys. The Rapha ones look fab but a bit out my price range. The Endura urban do seem a possibility, though bit more than I was thinking of but if they do look a quality product so might bite the bullet but chain reaction are out my size at moment so might have a look round for another stockist
Nope, it doesn't exist. Have a shower and a shave, cycle in, taking it easy, and get changed in the bogs. Takes three minutes and job done.
Getting to the meeting isn't a problem The bike and me can get a lift (its held at a another branch) and I can get a lift half way back (if necessary) but when the meetings over everyone seems to leave quite quickly and I would hold up the M.D by getting changed... whilst at my branch I always have time to change it just seems a shame I have to take the car for these meetings...

So they do! many thanks Vickster, I think I'd need a medium (Wow medium I've spent far too many years as an L or XL all the cyclings paying off!) .... I love Cyclechat I'd been googling for half an hour and all I came up with Levis commuter jeans... these urbans do seem a possibility I might take the plunge thank you.

I like the look of them, the only thing that stops me buying some is my short legs and the possibility of them being way too long

you're right there's no info on the length just waist size, I think I'll be okay as I'm 31 inside leg, but I understand your thoughts as I wouldn't want to pay 60 notes for a pair of trouser and chop the legs down

Try any of the main outdoor brands. Craghoppers and Rohan both do trousers that will fit your needs.

If you are lucky you can get the Craghoppers for silly prices at TKMAxx or some Debenhams shops
