I do the same Ed. People probably think cos I'm very slim that I am one of those women who is obsessed by calorie counting in order to stay thin, but I am infact doing the opposite. I choose lunch sandwiches based on the highest calorie and protein content :smile:

at the very least one of my 2 sandwiches has to have peanut butter due to the 95 calories per table spoon
sometimes i even have 3 sandwiches a snack bar and a fruit! :biggrin:

I find that in winter if i can't get out on the weekend I still eat as if i'm getting the miles in

It's one of the joys of cycling.

I rode home from work a couple of weeks ago, and had a guilt-free plate of fish and chips. Since the ride home was 50 miles, calories burnt was still in excess of extra calories consumed.
